AJC residents are young individuals who feel like God has called them to future leadership in ministry. If you are ready to challenge yourself to grow and make a difference, the pastoral residency at AJC is for you!

As a pastoral resident, you’ll be paired with a ministry leader on staff who will mentor and support you through significant responsibility in your designated ministry. In addition to your primary ministry placement, you will also support other needs within the church, just like other members of staff. This isn’t an internship - you’re worth much more than boring admin or coffee runs! You’ll get to explore your giftings, work alongside senior church leaders, and have opportunities to practice and grow as a ministry leader.

Junior and senior residencies are available, with senior residencies designed to be a greater stretch appropriate to a more advanced stage of leadership development.

Placement of residents within church ministries will vary depending on need. Types of residencies may include (but are not limited to): youth ministry, kids ministry, young adults, worship, production, hospitality, formation, and Alpha).
