On the earth as it is in heaven.

Our building exists to serve an important purpose—to be a sacred space where people encounter the living God, are shaped more into the image of Jesus, and find belonging as they journey through life together.

As we renovate, our desire is simple: that every square foot of this home would better reflect God’s kingdom, not just on Sundays, but all week long.

Why we’re renovating

Our church building is entering a new season.

Over time, God has made it clear that this space is meant to serve not only our Sunday gatherings, but our neighbors, families, and wider community throughout the week. We are gradually shifting toward a community-center model—a place that hosts formation, prayer, children, events, partnerships, and everyday presence.

This means making thoughtful changes that help the building work harder, more holistically, and more hospitably—for both the church and the community we’re called to love.

Why offices came first

You may have noticed that construction started in the office and staff areas rather than in the more visible spaces. This was intentional and strategic.

  • We began in non-ministry areas so that weekend gatherings and the Advent season could continue without interruption. Improvements to more visible spaces—like the Garage —were intentionally delayed until after the new year.

  • The church has tenant-improvement funds with a firm deadline that need to be used by Spring 2026. Given the scale of the full vision (potentially millions over time), a phased approach was necessary. Office updates were the most achievable first step within those constraints.

  • Phase one office work could be completed quickly—allowing progress without prolonged disruption. We also combined permit phases to steward costs, even though it added complexity behind the scenes.

  • The open office concept wasn’t primarily about aesthetics—it was required to address fire-code capacity constraints. Solving these foundational issues early allows future phases to move forward more smoothly.

Starting here allowed us to move wisely, quickly, and faithfully—without sacrificing our gatherings or overextending financially.

The Bottom-Line

This is a multi-phase journey, not a single construction moment.

What to Expect

Phase 1 (In Progress)

This phase reconfigures staff offices to better support the teams who serve our church and community every day. It includes a new open-concept shared office, updated dedicated offices, and small intentional meeting rooms—bringing staff into one area of the building for better collaboration, connection, and camaraderie.

Phase 2 (Beginning end of February)

The Garage is a central gathering space for our church. This phase focuses on functional improvements, including an elevated tech loft and infrastructure updates that better support worship, production, and future events. Work was intentionally delayed until after Advent to avoid seasonal disruption.

Preschool Phases (Preliminary Ideation)

An emerging vision includes a weekday preschool partnership that would convert portions of the building into a Monday–Friday early education environment, while continuing kids ministry on Sundays. This would allow our space to serve families in our wider community in a tangible, everyday way.

Future Improvements

Longer-term plans include reimagined K-5th spaces, an expanded formation room, a 24/7 prayer room, and increased capacity for community events and hospitality.

Timelines will adjust as funding, partnerships, and opportunities emerge—but we are committed to moving forward thoughtfully, transparently, and faithfully.

We believe spaces shape formation—and formation shapes people.

Thank you for your patience, your generosity, and your trust as we take these steps together. We’re excited about what God is building in us and through this place!
