Gospel of Mark

Mark was the first to write a biography of the loved, hated, respected, dismissed and often misunderstood first century rabbi: Jesus the Nazarene. Throughout the history of the church, Mark's biography has been known as "The Gospel according to Mark."

But what is "the gospel?" For Mark, "gospel" was much more than a religious word that deals exclusively with God's plan of salvation. For Mark, the gospel was the incredible proclamation of a strategic victory and a new King.
